Sick kiddo's

Well we have 2 sick little boys in our house. Carter is starting to feel better but he had pink eye and an ear infection. He is not happy at all when I come at him with the eye drops....he is a strong little bugger when he wants to be. Then, Talon has double ear infections. I felt so bad for him this evening. He was crying and had a high fever so off he went to visit the after hours clinic once again. We really don't like dealing with ear infections.......... all of the boys have had their share plus some. I think we are on the upswing now. Yeah! Thank goodness for meds! It is a good thing that it was the weekend and now the kids have school break.

Carter is walking!!!

Carter has been taking his time learning to walk but, he is now a full fledged walker and he is so dang cute! I was able to capture it on my camera but it is sideways and I couldn't figure out how to change it one here. (Just humor me and tilt your head to watch it). No sound either : ( But I think you can tell that he was saying Momma, Momma. He loves his Mommy!!!! I am lucky to have such a sweet boy.

2009

This picture is a bit late......this was taken on New Years Eve. I got home about 15 minutes before midnight and the two older boys were still up waiting to bring in the new year. They never stay up this late!!! When I got home they were downstairs watching Christmas movies (they love to watch Christmas movies???) Rick and the baby were sound asleep. I spent New Years at my sister Amber's house for her surprise birthday party. (Rick stayed home with the kids, both he and the baby were sick). Anyway......I know I am long winded : ) I got to bring in the New Year with the boys. We watched the countdown, had horns to blow and yelled outside with some of the neighbors. Then.......after all that fun we melted into our beds and got some needed zzzzzzzzzzzzz's!

American Idol!!!!

Yeah! American Idol starts tonight. I am so excited. Keaton and I enjoy watching this show together. I am glad that I have something fun to watch now. Better go, it is almost time for it to start! Enjoy, if you are watching it tonight also : )

Flashback Friday

Looking through my pictures and seeing this one makes wish I could put on some shorts, sunscreen, sunglasses, and pack a picnic. We are in the thick of winter and it has been chilly!!! This "flashback" is from a fun visit to the Hogle Zoo. A great day with my mom, sisters, and our kids. This is 2 years ago : ) We have enjoyed getting a zoo pass each year. The boys love the bird show, the monkeys, and of course the train. (I wonder when/if they are going to update the things that you see while you are on the train ride??? Weird stuff!) Look at those cute kids : ) Love, love, love em!!

Fun in the snow : )

It has been pretty chilly around here lately. The boys have enjoyed playing in the snow. Rick hasn't liked shoveling it though....me either, Iv'e done it a bit too! I do love the snow, it is so pretty. Growing up it was very common for us to be out snowmobiling with our Dad. I haven't been able to go for quite sometime since I have the little bambinos but I look forward to taking them out to enjoy a great ride someday. I think they will absolutely love it : )

I have been out finding great deals this week! It has been crazy.... but super great deals are to be had and I am taking full advantage of them. Gotta love a great deal!!!
