Dinner gift certificate deals

I found a great link from a site that I like to browse. It is http://www.restaurant.com/ . You are able to get restaurant gift certificates at a discounted price. Now and then a code will be sent out, yesterday it was the word SAVE and it allowed me to buy $25 gift cards for $3. Most of them are good for 1 year. I was excited to get some for my favorite restaurants! Yeah!........maybe this will be an incentive for date nights : )

Flashback Friday.....

So it has been many many moons since my sisters and I have had the last name of Salmon (our maiden name). Yes, we got called names since our last name is also a type of fish. Whenever I go to my moms and run into neighbors they always say "Oh it's one if the Salmon girls". I guess that is what we are tagged for life. We had this picture taken a few years back to give to our parents.
I love my sisters very much and I am grateful for the love and support they have given to me throughout my life. Such the awesome girls!!!

The two little guys.....

The two little guys are still not feeling 100% today but they both slept well last night and are acting much better today. YEAH!!!! Talon wanted me to show everyone his dimple, so here is his cute dimple......and then he pulled some goofy faces besides. What a ham!
Then I was able to get a shot of Carter sucking his thumb. He looooooooooooves his thumb. He looks so innocent and calm when he has it. What a sweet boy he is : )
Ok, the thumb part is over! He wanted the camera. Look at all those cute teeth. Notice his diastima (hey, I got to use one of my dental words) going on. Talon had it too. What a cute boy!

Grouchy Momma!

So, I am like this mean ol' Smurf today. I feel so bad that I am in such a grouchy mood. None of us around here have been getting enough sleep! My two little ones have been sick the past couple of days. I am used to them being great sleepers. I can usually keep things under control around the house when Rick is away but since the kids are sick it changes things......UGH!!! The little ones are in bed now.....I hope they will sleep better tonight. Keaton and I are feeling good. He is such a great helper : ) He completed his homework so he was able to play outside and have fun with his friends tonight. This was not a very uplifting post.........Sorry, I just had to vent! It has been one of "those" days.

I just love how olives fit so well on our fingers......but, why do we do this with them anyway?? I remember eating Mac-n-cheese and putting the noodles on each fork tong (is that what they are called?). Quirky things we do with our food....what are some of yours?

LDS Conference

Today I enjoyed staying home with my boys and watching conference in our jammies. : ) I didn't think that I would be able to watch/listen to much of it with the kids in the room but they all did so well. I let them color, draw, and I had them hum/sing along with the choir. Talon loves the choir. He sang "I feel my Savior's love" all throughout the day. I am still so amazed at the construction of the conference center. It is such a grand and beautiful building. I am grateful for the words spoken today. The older I get, the more I "get" and appreciate what is being said. It helps me strive to be a better person.
