Curtains

I finished making and hanging curtains for my front room today. I made one for my double window and one for my big front window. I have looked around for material for quite awhile. I finally found what I was looking for. (Ok, my walls are not really green....they are a brownish color....the pic is weird, so really they do match!) I am happy that they turned out cute. I still have more to make for my family room but I am going to make them gathered valances.

A Funny!

Last night Talon was singing the song that goes "I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" and I noticed that he was singing it a bit wrong. His version was of "Saturday" Saints. I listened a bit longer and then asked him what Church he belongs to and he said The Church of Jesus Christ of Saturday Saints. Oh, what a kid! I love it. Isn't it embarrassing when you think you know a song and then someone lets you know it actually says something else. I have had many of those times!!!

Talon is a tough guy too!

Talon noticed that his brother got to show his strong muscle so he wants everyone to know that he is a tough guy too! So, here is his super strong muscle. Ooooooooooo Ahhhhhhhhhhh! So strong! I should know by now that if you do something for one brother you need to do the same thing for the other. Fair is fair right? Talon cracks me up.

Crazy cowboy

Carter loves to ride on his horse. He just got out of the tub and had to play cowboy. He looks a bit like a "drunken cowboy" the way that he rides it. He is growing up too fast. (FYI-no sound)

Boys in training

My boys are so funny. They have a new little game that they play. (We recently saw Kung Fu Panda and I think they got the idea from the movie?????) Ok these little animals are their judges. The animals are already masters that is why they have awards. My boys do stunts and tricks for the animals and they judge them on their performances. Take note of the little lizard in the t.p. tube. He is a master also. I am glad that they have creative minds and that they are playing nicely together for the time being! And this is the proof that Keaton will too be a master some day! LOL He has been working on his Kung Fu skills!!!!!!!!!!!! He also crosses the bars and plays on the rings on our swing set. What a tough guy.

Bruno is found

Well, we were going to go out to look for Bruno again but a nice person called me and said that he found him. He was about a mile away from our home. The boys were so excited when I told them he was on his way home. He was kept in the guys house last night so he wasn't in the bad weather. I am thankful that he was well taken care of. I swear, I think that our dog has a million lives!!!! I am happy that I can carry on with my day now and do something fun on this Labor day! I am happy that my kids are not sad anymore - they have their dog back : )

Bruno is missing

Our dog Bruno is missing. We came home from church yesterday to find that our gate had been blown open from the wind. He likes to take off on adventures when he gets the chance. Keaton has been so sad. We've had a lot of wind, rain, and thunderstorms the past two days so it makes it hard to look for him. The shelters are also closed for the Holiday. I have joked around that it would be easier not having a dog at all but now that he is gone and seeing the boys so worried about him it makes me sad. I am also sad for him to be out in the weather that we are having. Well........off we go to look for him again. I just don't know where to start???????????
