Saturday fun

Today Daddy and Keaton are off to another BYU game. They are addicts!
Talon is having lots of fun on the swing set and the trampoline. He hasn't been feeling well this week so it is nice to see him out playing.
Little Carter is getting into to the cupboards as usual with the help from his "old school" walker.

Flashback Friday Funnies!

I think this is one of my all time favorite goofy pictures. Talon was dressing up one day as Mr. Potato Head. We all laughed so hard at him when he did this!Keaton was singing to us in this picture. I remember so many years ago when my mom taught my sisters and I how to do this. It is a fun little way to make people laugh.
This is how Talon usually ends up after eating a PB and J sandwich. It is his Joker look.

A few years back Keaton was Frankenstein for Halloween and this was the first step to the makeup that we put on him.

This is a picture that I love with "Papa" and the 2 big boys. My kids are very lucky to have such good Grandpa. Talon is looking forward to doing the things with him that Keaton has been able to do like go to BYU games and sleep over. We told him when he turns 6 he will get his chance. Papa brings out the "boy" in the kids. They like to rough house when he is around. He is a good man and sets a good example. **I do have to laugh when I look at this picture, I remember setting Talon on the seat and he was soooooooooooooooo squished but wanted so bad to be in the picture!!!**

Making music.

Carters new found toy is our keyboard. He has a walker that he can maneuver pretty much anywhere that he wants to. I recently moved my furniture around and since then he can make it over to play some tunes. It is cute to watch him bop around. Keaton takes piano lessons and his little brother thinks that he is just as great as he is! He's such a cute little bugger.

My crazy night life! Amber....call 911 !!!!

Last night Amber and I went to our card exchange group at our sister Stacey's house and had a good time. We left with so many cute cards. We were tired by the time we left and have a long drive back to our homes. (Amber was hitching a ride with me). We got off the freeway onto our main street and stopped at a red light. A truck was in front of us and besides that nobody else was around. Well the truck started backing up. I honked the horn but it still came back. I backed up but she still hit my van. Then the light turned green and she didn't go. We thought she would get out but she didn't. She drove into the Maverick station. We followed her thinking she was going to talk to us. (Amber is calling 911 at this point). We parked behind her blocking her truck. She got out and I told her she just did a "hit and run" she looked at my van (luckily no damage) and said "Oh, I am sorry about that". She got into her truck and started backing up with us right behind her. I had to move or she would have hit the passenger side! I know this is a long story but it is almost over : ) While Amber was on the line with 911 we followed this wacko lady all over town. We went through neighborhoods, behind stores, over the train tracks, etc... All of a sudden 3 cop cars had their lights on and we were right in the middle of things right in a neighborhood. (we gave the neighbors something exciting to check out). We were shaking from our adrenalin rush. The lady had to take off her heels to walk a straight line, follow the light, take a breathalyzer test and all that other good stuff. Anyway while she did her thing we had to fill out papers and we had the babies with us. So, while nursing the babies (wasn't this great timing) we juggled paper work! We kept saying "Bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do........" Ok the story is almost over : ) The lady got hand cuffed and taken to jail. They said she will get a DUI. Her truck got towed. It was crazy but at least we were safe and we got her off the streets! Oh the best part of the whole story for my sister but NOT for me was, the officer asked me if my passenger (Amber) was over 18 so she could fill out the paper work! We laughed, she felt AWESOME! He said you never know, maybe she was my daughter UGH! Ok, mom in a mini van I must have lots of kids? We had a late, late, super duper crazy night! I melted into bed as soon as I got the chance!

Halloween is around the corner....

Well, it will be Halloween before we know it. I was browsing through my pictures and found these cute pictures of my boys from last year. Looks like I better get a move on for this year. I need to craft up a train from a box and get some overalls for Talon. He wants to be a train conductor. Keaton is going to be a werewolf so that will be simple for the costume part of things, the makeup and the stuck on hair will be a bit harder but I can't do that until the day of. Carter is going to be a scarecrow, should be simple. This year has gone by so fast. Little Carter will be 1 next month~holy cow!

I love flowers!

My Birthday flowers from Stacey are still doing so well. Look how nice they still are, I can't believe it. I thought I would post this because I love flowers. It is something that makes me happy : )
We are staying home from church today. The 2 little guys are congested and boogery and Rick is zonked out due to jet lag. So, momma needs to hold down the fort.
