Talons school party.

We started out our Halloween with Talons school party. He dressed as a magician and had a lot of fun with his "magic wand". He got to parade around, sing songs to all of the parents, play put the eye on the pumpkin, and drink witches brew (homemade root beer). What a fun time we had!!

Having fun carving pumpkins.

Just some random pic's

Here are the finished pumpkins lit up. Me sporting my groovy wig. Talon eating taco soup that I made for our Halloween dinner.

Our costumes.

Keaton was a Werewolf (some people asked if he was a homeless boy LOL, poor kid), Talon was a magician, Carter was a Scarecrow, and I just put on a wig, put blue lipstick on, and wore some skeleton jewelry. Oh yea, when Rick handed out candy he wore a rainbow clown wig.......didn't catch a picture :(

Haunted Yard!

We ended the night Trick-or-Treating. We have some fun houses around us that go all out with their decorations. This one is our favorite! (The Bagleys). This year they had a castle to enter. Inside they had many creepy things, the vampire handed out candy from his coffin.

A visit with some friends.....nice time away.

I returned home today from Saint George. My friend Cassie was so nice to let little Carter and I stay at her house for a few days. I worked with Cassie at Primary Children's Dental Clinic. It has been a long time since we've seen one another (although I see her often on her blog LOL, she is the one that got me going on this whole blog thing). Our friend Tara that also worked with us drove in from Vegas to hang out too. It was fun to see their cute kids and just talk. Cassie was a super great hostess. Thanks Cassie for everything : ) I had a nice time being away from my regular schedule. I really needed the break! So, in the big picture.....Tara is on the left, then it is me *he he*, then it is Cassie. Tara's cute little girl is in the yellow (she has a 5 month old son that I didn't get a picture of ???) and then Cassie is with her two boys. They are great moms!!!!!! Darling kiddos!! Thanks girls for the chit chat : ) Hope we get together again sometime.

What a little trooper.

Carter was my traveling buddy. He had his moments in the van but all in all he did a very good job. Here is a picture that I took on one of our breaks. He was so happy to get a little snack and to stand up for a while. Cute little smile.

Nice to see the kids!

On Wednesday evening I stopped by Costco to see my sister Jamie at work. It was good to see her even though it was brief. She is working hard to provide for her family. She has raised some very well behaved kids. I drove into Hurricane to see the kids. They were excited that I was able to stop by for a visit. I treated them to Pizza and we had a picnic on the driveway. (Jordyn, J.D., and Jayden. (little Jodi was sleeping so I didn't get a picture of her).
