Talon's 5th B-day

These are a bit late because I have been a blog slacker and................a busy mom! Anyway....here is a picture from Talon's 5th B-day. He wanted to repeat his party from last year. We went to the Splash Pad in Ogden. He only wanted his Nana, Aunts, and cousins to attend. He chose the same party favors and all. What a cute little bugger : ) We stayed over 6 hours because they all were having so much fun : )
Ok this part was different from last year. I made these cute little hamburger cupcakes (my friend recently made some for a scout party and I couldn't resist making them for his party). They are just the cutest.....don't you think!?!

Here's how you make them: Yellow cup cakes, cut them in half. Brownie cut in a circle (I used a cup) Yellow and red frosting for the ketsup and mustard. Sesame seeds on top. (once assembled just wet the top lightly with water and sprinkle the seeds on top. So easy and soooooooo super cute!

Carter has been trying to dress himself a lot lately. Sometimes he does great, other times he ends up like this! (hey at least he's trying)

Slip and Slide fun!

Last week the boys had a great time playing on their slip-n-slide. Carter was so cute trying to drink the little streams of water. Keaton had a great time seeing how far he could slide past the end and Talon loved twisting on the way down. I had a great time watching them play : )
I put the slide on the dry spot of the lawn so it could get an extra soak while they were playing.

Awwwwwww Shucks!

Just got back from the cabin in Manila. While there my boys were all sitting on my dad's tractor and they looked so stinkin' cute! I went to take a picture of them and realized that I left my card reader in my computer at home! Ugh! No pictures to show : (
So, the last post of old cabin pic's will have to do.
I was a boring mom on this trip. I didn't feel well and I seriously vegged on the couch for a huge chunk of the time. The boys found things around the cabin to do though. Carter had a blast going for walks around the cabin (over and over again). We came home a day early because I wanted the comforts of home : ) Today I have a sore throat! Yes, I am whinning but someone here in blogger world might have some sympathy for me right???

Flashback photo!

Looking through pictures I came across these fun ones from a trip to our family cabin. It was from a couple years ago because my sis Amber was pregnant with Liam at the time (that means I was also pregnant with Carter......and boy were we super hot on that trip). The cousins had a blast playing behind the cabin in the sand.
Here we have the "fun stairs" a highlight of the cabin. You can hang from them, make a fort below them, slide down them, or like the boys are doing.....just checking things out.
This was movie time. They all look worn out from the day don't they : ) That's the good part for all of us mommies. Wear them out with lots of fun activities and then they crash well later : )

Fun times, fun times! I am just itching to go again!

The Birthday boy.

Yesterday Talon was thrilled to get a guitar from us. He was even happier that it's blue. Check out his owies on his head. After church I noticed his shoes were untied (this little guy loves to untie his shoes but he doesn't know how to tie them back up very well!!!!) and I told him to be careful or he would fall. Welp, a few seconds later he did a face plant on the sidewalk. He woke up on his b-day looking like he got into a fight during the night.

He wanted a guitar ever since he turned 4 last year!

Talon is 5 today!
