Highlights of Disney and Cal. Adventure 2010

Carter saying cheese at my favorite place in Disneyland......The Tiki Hut! I was hoping to have him wear a hat to shade his noggin.......I didn't think he would go for it.......it was the opposite, even when he was sweating he wouldn't take it off. He looooooooooved his hat : )

I took this picture for my Dad. He had a Radiator business for years. (This is now reminding me that I need to make him a copy).

The big guys were being Joe Cool Dudes waiting for Captain EO the start. It is a cool 3D show done by Michael Jackson back in the 80's. The boys loved it! I had fun watching them put out their hands to reach for things. I looooooooooooooooved the music!

Each of the boys had some $ to purchase things. Keaton picked out a couple Disney stuffed animals. I don't have pictures of the other boys but Carter picked out a pack of Toy Story figures and a little stuffed Mickey. Talon chose a sword and a Buzz Light Year Gun. They had a great time picking out something just for themselves!

Not quite sure where this one was taken??? I think it was under a big bear in California Adventure. Hmmmmmmmmmmm the boys look like they were having fun though.

Of course we had to get a picture of the castle. I lost out to see the princesses though! The boys didn't want to stand in a huge line just to see the pretty girls LOL!

Toon Town was a hit with the boys. It was fun for them to run around, climb, and touch everything in sight!

Well I am still so sad that my camera died on the trip! I have lots of video though : )
It will be a few years before we head back to Disneyland..............can't wait!!!!

Choo choo!!

While in Monetary Cali. we went the the coolest park a few times. It is called Dennis The Menace Park. It was such a fun place for the boys to play and explore. A highlight for them at the park was the train.

The boys wished that Grandpa Nelson was with them to play in the the train!

Beach Pictures

The boys had such a great time at the beach. Keaton loved watching the waves come in. He was so fascinated by it! Talon loved looking for shells and digging in the sand. Carter loved running around on the sand. It was still chilly as you can tell with the boys wearing their jackets but they didn't care. *This is the beach where sand got into my camera......wasn't able to take snap shots from that point on :( *

Disneyland

Well last month the boys and I along with my mom went to Disneyland. We had such a great time. I have been slow to post pictures because my camera got sand in it while on our trip.....so, I wouldn't work and I have been so frustrated that I missed out on some great moments : (

I did have my flip camera along so I did get some cute videos : )

We waited in a looooooooooooong line to see Mickey. Carter wanted to see him so bad so it was worth the wait. Carter didn't want to leave him!!!

Well......we are on vacation at the moment. I am excited to post pics when we return. I hope all of you are having a wonderful spring break. Bye for now!

CrAzY wEeK

No pictures today just a little recap of our crazy week!
Monday: Took the van in for regular maintenance. Should have taken 45 min. I was at the shop for almost 2 hrs with Carter. The 1st hour went well.....the 2nd hr was a nightmare. Oh the joys of entertaining a 2 year old in a dealership that has nothing ok to touch.....not to mention how dirty the waiting room is.
Tuesday: Our chaotic day every week. Keaton has scouts right after school then off to his piano lessons we go. The kids begged for McDonald's on the way home. It is a big treat for them since I am pretty anti Micky D's. The little ones went to bed. Keaton was doing his homework and couldn't finish because his tummy hurt so bad. I let him stay in my room and around 11 pm he woke up crying and headed for the bathroom........didn't quit make it!!! Puked his guts out over and over on my floor ACK!!!!!! Not pretty, so sorry!
Wednesday: Wee early in the morning I was still helping Keaton since he was sick as can be......I don't know if he had the flu or food poisoning??? (Micky D perhaps????) I guess I will never know. Then about 1 am Talon comes into my room cryings (lovely) and he says his ear is hurting. Gave him ear drops and meds. So, two boys sick in my room all night long.
Thursday: Kids stayed home from school. Took Talon to the Dr. for his ear. Found out he has strep throat (go figure). Bought his meds and went back home. Keaton was starting to feel a bit better. At the end of the night they were both doing much better.
Friday: Kids went back to school. Feeling good enough to go, just tired.
Now, I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy that they are on the up and up and it is almost bed time! We made it through the CrAzY wEeK but it was a tough one!

One of my all time favorite pictures.

Looking through some of my pictures I came across this one of my boys. It is one of my all time favorite pictures of them. I can remember how much fun they had in the backyard that day. They played so well together. In this picture they are having a little snack at our picnic table. They were so content just hanging out and chatting with one another. Good times!
