I finished up a silkly blankie for my little nephew Liam. It is so soft an cozy! I am also in the process of making one for Carter for Christmas. My sister in law Suzy made some for my two older boys for Christmas a few years ago and they still love them.

What kind of material did you use that is really cute. i don't know if I could pull it off though. I am not a very good seamstress at all.
I don't know the name of it but it is what you use for formal dresses...satin maybe? It is a bit tricky sewing with it but you could do it.
It looks like trico (sp?). I love it, it looks like my boys whoobie.
