Cute little Darth

Carter is taking after his big brothers......he loves to dress up. I think the biggest highlight of their toys and such are the dress up clothes. Go figure! What a cute little Darth : )
And.....he likes to roam around in his diaper. Who needs clothes? LOL

I love her to bits!

This is a picture of my Dear Grandma Jean. She is not really my Grandma but I have called her that my whole life. My parents lived next to her and when I was born she took me in as her Grand-daughter. When my parents would vacation she would take care of my sisters and I. We moved away but always kept in contact. She is getting older in age now and is having some medical issues and can't do very much for herself now. It makes me so sad. When I was divorced and needed help with Keaton while I worked full time she helped me out so much. Keaton loves her dearly. I am so happy that he was able to spend time with her. She loves when we stop by to visit. I love her hugs!!

Fun field trip.....

Last week I was able to spend time with Keaton and his class on a fun field trip. We started out at Liberty Park in SLC then we headed up to Red Butte Garden's. It was such a nice day weather wise. The guy that did the tour for us was a crack up, the kids were lovin' it! They were able to learn a lot about plants/flowers.

Our group was loaded with boys and they all wanted to see a rattle snake soooooooooo bad! Luckily we didn't come across one. I think if they really saw one they would cry like little girls and take off running.

Keaton's teacher is in the red shirt. She is a wonderful teacher. He is going to miss her.

Underneath all of the kiddo's is a bronze statue of a moose. Crazy kids ; )

Keaton playing soccer

Keaton is such a die hard sporty kid. Last week at recess he was playing soccer and sprained his toe. It has been so sore and swollen. Luckily his weekend game was rained out/cancelled so his toe got to heal some before last nights game. He did gimp around a bit but still played his guts out! We told him he could take it easy but as the pictures show below he still went for it.

The score was 2/1 his team won and he scored one of the 2 goals.

Wow, where did the time go?

Holy toledo! Time sure gets away quickly doesn't it. My little family has been busy with sports, sickness, school, field trips, church, family, and a whole bunch of other "things". Wow, time to catch up.

Splishin' and a Splashin'

Ok this is not the best photo in the world but I was taking it from inside my house and from pretty far away because it was freezing out side and pouring down rain!!! The boys had so much fun during our recent down pour. They were collecting water from the gutter and splashing all over the place. They had such a blast! Oooooooooo don't you just love the green green grass that is lining our streets now......Yeah for spring : )

Keaton's school program/funny little Carter

On Thursday we went to Syracuse High for Keaton's Elementary school program. Each grade got the the chance to perform something. His grade sang a few songs and then the did the Virginia Reel dance (He was not happy about having to dance with and hold a girls hand).
Keaton is the 3rd boy from the bottom right side.

Carter was a riot at the program. He didn't want anything to do with Rick, Talon, and I. We were sitting on bleachers......Carter nudged his little body between the two ladies in front of us. A bit later he decided to hang out with people behind us and wanted them to give him high fives. He normally wants us to be right by him. Oh I almost forgot....a guy with tattoos was sitting next to use and he kept rubbing his arm and then he started scratching the dudes back. Oh my sakes we didn't know what to think of him that night. He was hamming it up and the people around us were loving him.

In the photo you can tell that he is miffed. He didn't like that his Daddy was asking him if he could hold him. He usually likes us to hold him. Go figure?
